Acr 2013 Launching Problem & It does not incrementally clone
I'm using Windows 7 x64
After a successful installation, Acronis True Image Home 2013 is difficult to launch. It takes several double clicks to cause it to launch over a period of 30 to 45 seconds
Once launched, I clicked on “Clone Disk” to launch the Clone Disk Wizard and found the drives not correctly listed. Disk 1 is show Secondary, Disk 2 shows Primary, whereby my Primary drive is connected to SATA Port 0, and Secondary Drive is connected to SATA Port 1.
Proceeding, I clicked on the Primary drive as the source and a USB external as the destination, using the proportional method. I then got a message relating a restart was required and I allowed it to proceed to a restart. After restarting, the computer booted to my desktop and did not proceed with the requested clone.
I again launched Acronis, had the same launching problems as mentioned, but finally got it to launch. I went through the exact same process and the program then properly launched after the required reboot. It proceeded with the clone process that took over six hours.
When the clone was completed, I made some changes to my computer after which I again restarted the clone process from the same source and to the same destination. I was surprised to observe that the prior clone would be deleted, so I terminated the process.
Acronis T I H 2013 was represented to me as allowing an incremental process. IS THIS STILL CORRECT? Can a full clone backup be repeated on an incremental basis? If so, how?
