Acronis 10 Unable To Access Backup Drive

Thread needs solution

Hello All,

Every couple of months my backups start to fail because the application is suddenly unable to access the backup files on the same drive it has been backing up to for the past year.

Previously I had to uninstall the software and re-install it in order to get this going. however i am starting to get frustrated and tired of doing so.
I tried following the steps described in other posts - sometimes with success and sometimes with no success.

Right now I'm running the W7 backup and it works smoothly.

I would like to know if there is one solid solution to fix this issue (without having to buy another version).

I apologize for being so aggressive but I just can't spend that much time on troubleshooting my backup software.

We can certainly get this fixed. Please send me this report and let me know which dates you had this issue so that I can study the program logs.

Are the backups saved to an external hard drive?

Are you running the latest build of Acronis True Image 2010 Home 7160?
