Acronis 10 (with XPpro) Recovery ‘failure' question
Backup not working (have tried several times, same ‘failure’) result…
1 - reinstall XPpro-SP3 on laptop (full install, format disk, to 'fix' system)
2 - reinstall ACTH v8 for reinstall v10
3 - click on Recovery
4 - select archive (external HD E:/*.tib file, full no differential/s)
5 - clicked restore disk or partitions
6 - pick disk 1
. chk: NTFS (C:)
. chk: MBR and Track 0
7 - shows analyzing partition C:
8 - shows locking E:
9 - pick Disk 1, in yellow for Primary
10 - yes, delete all the partitions b4 restoring
11 - popup… locking C: (about 1 sec)
12 - pick no, do not restore another partition
13 - pick use default options
14 - restoring (from E:/*.tib
. option 1 of 2 (reboot required)

clicked proceed

19 - pc goes back to desktop with no change/restore of anything
Thoughts ?
