Acronis 2010 HD boot cd keeps rebooting on Dell Optiplex Win 7

Thread needs solution

We are an OEM shipping Acronis 2010 HD with our systems. We use Dell computers on all our systems. On recent Dell computers with Win7, when booting with the Acronis 2010 HD boot CD, the computer just keeps rebooting to the Acronis menu when trying to start the Acronis backup/recovery program. Attached are the system report files generated.

Hello Bryan!

Thank you for finding time to report about the issue, we really appreciate it. I understand your concern, and will be glad to help you.

We're aware of the issue you've specified, and already managed to find a solution for it - it's a customized bootable media. I will send it to you via PM alongside with the instructions in a minute. This is important for us, so we'd appreciate if you could kindly keep us posted regarding the issue state.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

We had to ship the one system we were having problems with so I can't verify it on that one, but we have more coming up so I will keep you posted.
Thanks,
Bryan

Dear Bryan,

Thank you for the update. We'll wait for news from you.

Should the issue remain, please gather Acronis Linux Report and send it to me directly, I'll have Development team check it and build a custom media for you.

Thank you!

I had a chance to try out the ISO that you instructed me to download (Acronis Home 2010) and it resolved the problem. The OEM disc we had kept rebooting, but when I used the new one, it booted fine. Will you be creating an OEM ISO that has this fix?

Bryan

Hi, I have exact same issue with the Kingston supplied OEM boot CD on a Dell Latitude E4310 - can you please help? Thanks, J

Hello Bryan and J,

Thank you for replying. I will definitely help you.

Bryan, OEM versions based on Acronis True Image 2010 Home are also updated, you can download the latest build from your manufacturer's website.

J, unfortunately I could not find any registered products in your Acronis web-account. If you could get back to me I would really appreciate it.

Should you need additional help, please let me know.

Thank you.

Hi, sorry - only just bought the Kingston upgrade with their OEM version of your software to move my data to the SSD drive - I happened upon the thread and just hoped you might be able to help.

Regards, J

Hello j-g,

Thank you for replying.

I would recommend to check Kingston's for an updated version. It is possible they have the latest version there.

Please let me know if you need additional help.

Thank you.
