Acronis 2010 stopped my PCMCIA USB card from reading HDs!!!

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I installed Acronis True Image 2010 on my HP pavilion ze4400 laptop. I have a PCMCIA card installed in the laptop that adds 2 VIA-controlled USB 2.0 ports and a firewire port. I use this PCMCIA card because the standard USB ports on the laptop do not support USB 2.0, only 1.1. Before I installed True Image 2010, the PCMCIA card was able to read my flash drive and a SATA hard drive in a docking station via USB. After installing the Acronis software, it still reads the PCMCIA card drivers and USB controller drivers fine in the Device Manager, but the card is now unable to recognize the SATA hard drive via USB in Windows (It tells me the device is not recognized) . If I insert my flash memory stick, it does not read it at all (The LED on the memory stick doesn't even light up). Uninstalling the software hasn't helped. I need to get the PCMCIA card to read hard drives again... please help!!!
