Acronis 2012 bkup error msg
I shouldn't have upgraded to the new release of 2012.... silly me!
I'm now receiving an error msg when I try to backup -- a backup that I have been successfully doing for months now. Thanks, Acronis!
I've attached a jpeg of the error msg. Not sure what this means, especially when it refers to "Disk 2" --
I'm backing up a few files from my harddrive and a few files on one thumb drive and I'm using a second thumb drive for the backup. Hope this makes sense.
Any help would be appreciated, as I'm not able to complete any backup now.
Thanx,
- mh

Hello Marty,
Thank you for sending us the diagnostic information, I appreciate it.
There are several possible solutions we could try for this issue:
- Please try reformatting/repartitioning the drive, and see whether the issue remains
- Reattach the drive to the machine, and try running the backup to it again
- Attach the target drive to the machine, and perform check disk
Start -> Run -> cmd -> chkdsk /f /r -> Y -> reboot the machine
If the problem still remains, please re-send us the new diagnostic information. We will forward it to the Testers team for further investigation.
Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!
Thank you.

Okay, I did a disc scan on the thumb drive, though I thought it was a useless operation; the drive is copacetic -- but the backup still fails. Here's the latest and greatest system report. I've wasted so much time on this that I could have done my one-minute backup manually, once a week for the next year, and still had time left over.
Keep in mind that I have been running this same backup for months (and months), using the previous version of Acronis 2012 -- this problem only started when I was foolish enough to allow the system to upgrade to the new/current version. Unfortunately, I can't get back to that previous version; my only other option would be to uninstall and reinstall, BUT just use the version on the install disc, and not let it upgrade.
Thanks for your attention.
Cheers,
-mh

Same problem after upgrading from Acronis 2011. No unable to recover backups to my SSD's. Have 3 SSD's with a number of NTFS and EXT4 partitions.
Never had any this problem in Acronis 2011.
