Acronis 2012 will backup but not validate
I'm using Acronis 2012. I have two independent drives with two different OS's, C has Win7 an D has WinXP. Both of these drives backup fine with no problems. But a third independent drive called "Games" does not. It is a SATA internal drive that is divided into two parts called Games and Movies. It is being backup to another internal Sata drive called Backups. \
As I said the other two drives, C and D backup and validate fine however I can't get the Games drive validate. Games, Win7 and WinXP backups all go to my Backup drive.
I have run a chkdisk on all drives and there are no errors.
When I back up, I back up the entire drive, not just the files on it.
I have done this at least five times with no joy. Each time I get a validation error about 20% into the validation.
What should I do?

For confirmation purposes, you mentioned that your two independent hard disk drives, one containing a Windows XP operating system, and the other a Windows 7, back up and in turn validate successfully; however, your third independent drive, backs up fine but the validation task does not finish and prompts an error message; all three HDDs are backed up to a single separate hard disk that acts as a backup storage media. You also mentioned that you ran the chkdsk utility on each drive and did not encounter any issues. Please kindly correct me if I'm wrong up till now.
Could I ask you to please specify whether the two hard disks running Windows XP and Windows 7 are external HDDs?
As there is a discrepancy in the results of the validation tasks overall, I highly recommend that you move the successful backup of your "Games" hard disk to one of the independent hard disk drives where the validation task goes through smoothly, and run a manual validation of this backup image to see if the issue persists.
