Acronis 2015 - Backup Definitions not available.

Thread needs solution

Since updating to True Image 2015, I have been unable to access my previously defined backup procedures. Whenever I open the interface, it presents the "Backup Entire PC" screen, with no option to access any other backups.

I re-defined my backup, ran it OK, but a couple of hours later the Interface has returned to the "Backup
Entire PC," Screen, with no way to access the backup I defined.

I am running Windows 7.

Are you gentlemen saying your previously saved Back Up Tasks are no longer present?

What versions/builds did you upgrade from?

Yes, that is exactly what I am saying. I have backups on a network drive but the Acronis 2015 interface doesn't seem to have any way to restore from them. I am fiddling with the tib files now but find the process more than a little confusing.

OK. I restored the \ProgramData\Acronis files from a backup. Then I deleted the script file for the backup that was causing Acronis to hang. Now it LOOKS ok. We'll see how it does on actual backups. Meanwhile, I'm going to be looking for an alternative solution. This has been nothing but frustration ever since 2015 was introduced.

Frustrated long time user.

I updated from 2013.
It worked OK when I first updated, then lost the connection to the previously defined backup definitions.
I deleted the backup definitions, un-installed Acronis 2015, re-installed it, then redefined the backup definitions

It's now been working OK for 2 weeks.
