Acronis asking for next volume when it is not needed

Using Acronis 2009 on Windows 7.

I'm creating a TIB of a partition on a secondary hard disk onto the primary hard disk. TIB halts asking that I insert the next media/volume to continue the image creation. Problem is there is still 15 gigs of empty space on the media to which the backup is being made.

Why is this happening and how do I stop this behavior?

I regret to inform you that officially Acronis True Image Home 2009 doesn't support Window 7, so should you encounter any issue we won't be able to help you, since this product is not designed to work with this particular OS.

The only thing I can suggest you here is to test Acronis True Image Home 2010. You can find the demo version here as well as User's Guide here. The trial version doesn't have any limitations except: 

  1. 15 days of work
  2. Demo Bootable Media CD can restore only

Should you decide that you like it, you can purchase the upgrade.

Acronis True Image Home 2009 won't be updated to support Windows 7.
