Acronis Boot Disk
I installed Acronis True Image Home 2010 and then installed Acronis True Image Home 2010 Plus Pack. Once the Plus Pack was installed I created a WinPE boot disk. This boot disk seems to reset all the drivers back to generic drivers on restore.
Having this functionality is good for some situations, but I also want to have a boot disk that does NOT use generic drivers. How can I create a normal Acronis True Image Home 2010 boot disk now that Plus Pack is installed?

thomasjk thanks for the reply.
I believe you are right and "Universal Restore" was used. I was able to reinstall the original drivers, however it seems that my network adapter settings keep getting messed up every time I reboot. The only thing I can attribute this to is the restore performed by Acronis. I uninstalled the adapter thru Device Manager and reconfigured the adapter settings, however every time I reboot the settings get screwed up. In this case, the restore was done to the EXACT same hardware from which the backup was performed.
I never had this problem before with a restore using Acronis?
Any suggestions?

Is it possible to do the restore again and not use UR? It should restore everything just like it was.

MudCrab...that was exactly what my last resort was going to be and it probably would have saved me a lot of frustration if I had done that to begin with. However, I was able to resolve the problem by adding back in the registry settings for DefaultGateway which seemed to get wiped out:

and resetting TCP/IP with:

Thanks to both of you for your help.
