Acronis Bootable Rescue Media USB Flash drive unable to boot

Thread needs solution

Hi, I created a bootable USB flash drive using Acronis Bootable Rescue Media Builder. It boots and works perfectly fine in my PC (Win8.1x64), however it's unable to boot in my Win8.1x64 laptop (HP Spectre x360). The laptop BIOS has Secure Boot enabled and Legacy Support disabled, I disabled Secure Boot and enabled Legacy Support, I also made sure to have the USB drive in 1st place in the BIOS boot sequence without success. Any hint? Thanks.

Hi,

I ran into the same problem with my ACER Iconia W3 tablets. I finally found that the only way to securely and easily be able to boot from a memory stick for a recovery from ATIH, was to use Macrium Reflect. I use Acronis in all other situations, but for the tablets I have to use Macrium Reflect. Note that the free version of MR works just fine. Haven't had a problem with it yet.

Hi DentMenthe,
can you please check, if your tablets have 32-bit UEFI?
If so, unfortunately it is not supported by Linux-based environment in current product version: https://kb.acronis.com/content/43091

Thank you,
