Acronis Explore not showing previous backup versions of zip backup

I've just bought ATIH 2011 and I've been testing the backup files to zip format function.

I set up the backup with the version chain backup scheme, and chose the zip format by choosing zip in the "save as type" box in Destination in the "Configure file backup process" dialog.

The backup seems to run fine, creating a full backup in a zip archive folder at the destination followed by additional zip folders containing incremental changes (eg new or altered files) for subsequent back ups.

The problem is, when I go into Acronis Backup Explorer, the Time line shows all the backup versions, but no matter which of these I click, the Files and Folders window would show the same backup version which is the last version. So this means that. eg. if any file was deleted after the first (full) backup, the file would not show up even in the windows that are supposed to show backup versions before the deletion. Conversely, any file added after the first backup would show up in all the backup versions, even in those versions prior to when the file was added.

Is this normal behaviour? Is incremental/differential backup in zip format fully supported so that previous file versions or deleted files can be viewed and restored from the Acronis Backup Explorer ?

Any help on this would be much appreciated.
