Acronis Fails 2 Restore
Hi,
I've been having issues for 3 days trying to restore a backup into VMWare 8. I've read the following article explaining all usb devices must be detached to allow a restore. I'm using a USB Mouse & a wireless USB keyboard.. Is that why it's failing to restore and how do you suppose I go about overcoming that ?

My backup exists on my host machine, I've setup VMWare shared folders to allow access but when I try to restore using the boot media rescue disk I can't locate the file ? Any assistance would be grateful.. Would this overcome the usb issues as when I first initially restored my PC it was through that method and worked perfect, But now I'm trying in a virtual machine and can't figure out how to access my backup which is stored on my physical machine from the VM.
thanks
