acronis home 2014 on win 8.1 professional 64bit fails on partition backup

Access to the specified file is denied: \\?\F:\MY BACKUPS\MY PARTITIONS\MY_PARTITIONS_FULL_B1_S1_V1.TIB. F: drive is a WD external connected via USB cable. System report attached. Just had to fix the Dell xps17 laptop by fixing hard drive issues with disk director 12 and upgrading win7 64 bit professional to win 8.1. Acronis home 2014 reloaded but can't get it to work.
