acronis job on closedown even though no backups in progress

Since I installed latest download from acronis, my PC has been showing an acronis job happening for "about 2 minutes" every time I close my PC, even though I have disabled acronis in my start list.
What is happening?
Also acronis is refusing me any technical assistance even though I paid them for the 2015 upgrade just last September.
Is anyone else suffering?

I am not a beginner - I have been an acronis customer for many years!! Just always got reasonable technical support from them previously so did not need to resort to this!
