acronis monitor has stopped working?

Thread needs solution

Upon power-up, i received this message -

Monitor for Acronis True Image Backup Archive Explorer has stopped working.

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program.

I dont understand this message since there has been no changes to my system for a couple
of weeks.

What is the fix for the above message?

Thank you,
savagcl

1. Open up MSconfig\startup and check that the True Image Monitor entry has the correct path.

2. Check to see if you have more than one entry for this program both in Task Manager and in MSconfig. If there is more than one untick one of them. Making sure the remaining one is poiting to where the monitor.exe file actually is.

This software not working shouldn't cause TIH itself to stop working, but it will stop the scheduler talking to the GUI.

As a last resort, uninstalling and re-installing TIH should solve the problem

**post edited to make amendment***

I just updated to the latest release and its working.
Thanks for the feedback tho.....
