Is Acronis the Most F'd Up Piece of Software Ever Made?

Thread needs solution

Is Acronis the most F'd up piece of mainstream software ever made?

I think so.

I have never seen a mainstream product so buggy, so prone to failure, so hard to get to work correctly, and so prone to errors.

I am baffled as to how and why Acronis has such a good reputation, and how it has become such a popular product.

I am a lemming who has just followed the crowd to try to get a backup solution.

I did it in 2010 and I did it again now. I found it was awful in 2010, and after 1 hour with it in 2012, I have already had two major issues. Did I just get suckered again?

Tom, you're not helping yourself with the barrage. Most of us here are just fellow users like you and we'll help if we can. But slow down the tirade, please.

haha Richard,
you haven't helped anything.
your perfect for here. useless fits in perfectly here.

And you are helping how?

So be what? Nothing?

That's all I expect from here, at least for a few days...nothing.

If these forums are as screwed up as the program is, and as the forums were back in 2007, when I tried to sort out the v.10 version of this junkware, I can expect some kind of answer that might be helpful in about 3 to 7 days.
