Acronis scheduler failure event because of error 2

Thread needs solution

Dear friends,

I am really sorry if this issue has been reported and solvede elsewhere, but I failed to locate it.
So, here it is.

I have issues with Acronis scheduler. Here is a copy of the event's description. I get over a hundred such events per hour. Apart from that scheduled backups seem to be completed properly.

Scheduler failed to run task with GUID 'CXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX' because of error 2 (Failed to find the file (folder) or the key (value) in the registry.).

Any ideas would be welcome.

Take a look at this KB article

I would recommend downloading the schedule manager (read down the article and little way) and then if you cannot see the GUID info in question try using "get report" instead of "get list"
