Acronis Secure Zone is full and cannot be cleaned automatically.

Thread needs solution

I am getting errors in my backup Log:
###############################################################
Details: Acronis Secure Zone is full and cannot be cleaned automatically. Start the Manage Acronis Secure Zone Wizard to increase the size of Acronis Secure Zone.

More information can be found at: http://kb.acronis.com/errorcode/
Event code: 0x00640000
###############################################################

Attached are my settings..... What am i doing wrong??

Basically i thought the settings would do:

One Full backup
Three Incremental backups
Consolidate into full backup or delete backup full backup
Then start again

Is it just a case of space?? Maybe i should set incremental to two or one?

Hello Steven,

I understand the question and will do everything possible from my side to give you a clear explanation.

I have looked through your backup method and it seems ok, just try to create a new full backup manually or slightly increase Acronis Secure Zone to solve the issue.

Acronis True Image Home 2010 uses the following scheme to clean up Acronis Secure Zone:

- If there is not enough free space in the zone to create a backup, the program deletes the oldest full backup with all subsequent incremental/differential backups.

- If there is only one full backup (with subsequent incremental/differential backups) left and a full backup is in progress, then the old full backup and incremental/differential backups are deleted.

- Otherwise, (only one full backup left, and an incremental/differential backup is in progress) you will get a message about space error. In that case you will have to either re-create the full backup or increase Acronis Secure Zone.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.
