Acronis stalls, won't work

Thread needs solution

I'm using Acronis TrueImage 2010 version 7160 and it has worked perfectly for years and it has saved me so much time and hassle that I wouldn't want to compute without it.

But now, after a fresh install of Windows 7 64bit, Acronis stalls and never starts the recovery process.

I've tried starting the recovery from the computer and it does show the re-boot is needed screen and so I click on that and it reboots and shows Acronis is starting when it comes back up and then it says please wait...  and that's all it does.

So, I tried it with the Acronis Recovery disc and it appears to be working normally until it gets to Acronis is starting plrease wait... and it never does anything.

I'm thinking maybe I have some BOIS setting that needs to be changed?  I have my CD-Rom drive as forst boot device and then my C Drive as second boot device.

It's worked like this for years, and not it's not... so any ideas and suggestions on what I can do to resolve this would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Anybody have any suggestions???

It seems as though there has to be some settings that is preventing Acronis to start the recovery...
