Acronis Support

Thread needs solution

OK, I've had some major issues with Acronis TI 2010 and Windows 7 where SATA drives were not recognized. The same problem exists with Seagate DiscWizard; their software is made by Acronis. I also had some product registration problems; I know now that this problem is most likely caused by a vendor selling old software as new(egg).
The management here at Acronis sent me the ISO for the Rescue Disc so I could get back to work on configuring my new computer build. I'm not a millionare; once I get my refund from the Acronis TI I bought from somebody else; I'll forget the few bucks and buy it here off the Acronis website. I've used Acronis for years; this software has saved my butt so many times; I've lost count.
So just like many of you here; the Acronis software didn't work on the first try. I know you might be PO'ed; so was I; read my previous posts. Give the Acronis staff a chance to make it right; I believe they will. It may take a couple days; but give them a chance.
That's all I have to say.

ATI 2009 has worked great for me since I bought it some time ago.... ATI 2010 doesn't seem to be as good... 2009 was so good for me that when 2010 was offered, I jumped at it.... Maybe I made a mistake? I installed it (2010) over 2009 and tried to make a backup and when I chose the partition to be backed up and clicked next, the window goes blank and it sits there for as long as an hour... gave up.... tried four times... same results... uninstalled it, cleaned out the registry , reinstalled 2009 and 2009 works like a charm..... Also tried this same program on another of my computers which has a new harddrive and a new operating sys install..... 2010 did not work... uninstalled 2010 and installed 2009 and it works perfectly.... hmmmmm
