Acronis TI 2011 & Bootable USB Rescue Media - Unable to boot from

Thread needs solution

When creating a USB Bootable Rescue Media from TI 2011 (built 5105), it is impossible to boot from. I understood that it was a defect from ATI 2010 and expected to be fixed in ATI 2011.
When try to boot from get some MBR error messages. I tried several USB key but no change
Any advice ?

First, does it work from CD?

Yes, please let us all know if the Acronis 2011 product did not fix the problem with being unable to boot from a rescue disk because a USB keyboard or mouse does not work while in Win 7 X64OS. My new PC does not have that "legacy USB" option in setup that apparently works for some users. If you cannot boot from the rescue disk then would have to restore Windows 7, apply Acronis TI, then restore from within Win 7 and hope it works.

Contact support via a Private message or visit the support home page (extreme upper right corner of this page) and fill out a support ticket with your serial number, etc.

They can provide you with alternate bootable media so your TrueImage will perform as advertised.

Yes it works from CD. This is what is frustrating.

I've contacted support already.

By the way the USB device is able to boot if created from Disk Director 11 as it has been suggested in a post (combining Thrue image and Disk Director) but this is a workaround and not a fix.
