Acronis TI 2011 - Exactly where is the 'Non Stop' files saved & problem with email backup

Thread needs solution

Hi

This appears a silly question, because the program tells me the files are my K external drive, but I cannot see the files (I've tried viewing hidden system files etc) - so where are they stored??

Secondly I seem to getting a problem backing up email (Using Outlook 2003 & Windows 32 bit home). Using the old 2010 version I just clicked email and scheduled a backup. Tried in 2011 the same and got a 7kb file generated ( instead of around 50mb!) No error code generated. Any ideas? (Using nonstop for now to keep the files backed up)

Thanks

Steven

When you set up NSB what drive/partition did you select?

Does the Timeline show you your backups?

Unfortunately I can't test this for you as NSB won't work to mapped or shared drives in VM, well at least not for me.

Thanks for the reply.

All the backups on on the time line. I'm very pleased the way it works, but I just wanted to keep on eye on the size of the folder where they are stored.

They are being backed up on my external drive, but I cannot see them!!!

What directory are they in or is it a hidden partition (can I check the size of it??)

Steven

Unless it's been changed, it will be a hidden directory called Timeline. Enable hidden files and folders in Windows Explorer, and it should become available.
