Acronis TI 2015 build 5539 crashed after restoring data partition! possibility of file corruption/missing of files ?

A few days ago, I was performing a restore of the data partition from my external HDD using Acronis True Image 2015 build 5539. During the restoration process, there was a tiny progress notification icon at the right end of the taskbar & the concerned destination partition was inactive throughout. After reaching a little over 50%, there was a prompt telling me that "You have new devices to use". Though I am pretty sure that the restoration process completed successfully (the partition was accessible & files openable) & this is how build 5539 normally restores the partition image but when I maximized the minimized application window from the taskbar, immediately there was a dialogue box saying "Acronis TI 2015 has stopped responding" & thus I had no option but to click on close the application. During the process, I forgot to note the faulty module that caused the app crash.

My concern is it is possible that some file's might have gone corrupt during the restoration process? What apparently would have caused the application crash?

I did check the file-count & size of both the source & destination & they were exactly the same (in my case:57,355 files & 1894 folders)
