Acronis TI2013 and System Mechanic 11.5

Does anyone use both System Mechanic and TI 2013 on the same system? I love both of the programs but the way that System Mechanic handles the defragging and the HDD optimization my daily incremental back ups are like full back ups.

Is there a better way to set these programs to interact with each other more efficiently?

I have read the posts on the Acronis site concerning the effects of defragging on incremental back ups but if there is a way to set the program please let me know.
