Acronis TIH 2011 update forgets current key and requests old key
So my Acronis TIH 2011 checked for an update, as requested, and proceeded to download and install the update.
Unfortunately, the update didn't check and record my valid existing key. Not only did it request a valid 2011 key but, since my copy of 2011 was an update, it also requested my previous TIH 2009 key!!
This is ridiculous.
This is the weakest coding of an update process that I have ever encountered and does not reassure me that the issues I have encountered with TIH 2011 will be resolved in the update.
If the Acronis developers are as poor as those who coded this update procedure we should all worry.

Hello Philip and Mike,
Thank you for posting. I will definitely assist you.
There is indeed an issue with updating to the latest build, 6574. You can check the following workaround to get the issue resolved.
Mike,
If you are interested, you can contact our Support team and get the product key changed to full one, provided you pay a small Service Handling Fee. However, we will probably disable Acronis True Image 2010 Home key in order to issue you the full one for version 2011.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.

Mike,
As I've noted in at least two other threads, this workaround doesn't work if, like me, you acquired your ATIH2011 serial numbers by upgrading from a disk vendor's imaging software (which, because it's free, has no license key).

Thank you.
Why don't you just release a build that fixes this egregious, user-hostile bug?

Thank you to Anton for resolving this issue by providing me with full serial numbers.
