Acronis TIH 2012 - fails to find backup location on hard drive

Because ATIH 2012 cannot do incremental backups to a DVD I do it on E: on my HD. That works fine. I then copied it to my DVD. After having a few days worth of incremental backups on my E: drive (actually a partition), I copied all of them to the DVD with the original backup. Still okay.

I have the backup scheduled daily, but they are now failing. The program wants to load the backups onto my DVD drive. I can't do that and have it automatic--assuming that will work in any case--because I have multiple backups to do everyday and I am not going to be changing DVDs. The program indicates that the backups are on my E: and G: drive, the latter is my DVD. I have the destination for the backups as E:\My backups. How do I get the program to do what I am telling it to do instead of ignoring that and trying to use my DVD?

Now that I just wrote the above, the program managed to do the next backup correctly. In that case the Edit backup settings page shows only the E: drive as having the backup even though I also copied my incremental backups to the DVD drive. I have no idea why it treated one backup set one way and the other another way and I have no way of telling the first set to ignore the G:. So again, is there anything I can do about that?
