Acronis True Image 2011 Home don't recognise harddisk(s) from boot-media

Thread needs solution

When i start the computer with the boot-media the program don't find any harddisk (sata3). Error reading in various hard disk’s sectors.

In windows 7 64bit the program works properly but i need to run it using the boot cd.

Can you help me with this problem please?

Thanx, to soon.

Andrea,
My suggestion would be twofold.
1. From a command prompt, run Chkdsk C: /R on the disk.
2. Download an alternate Rescue CD which has different drivers as compared to the CD you created from your installed version.

Return to your Acronis registration page and look for the heading "Bootable media". If your version of the software has such a listing, then download the file and burn it to CD as an image. More information about the iso file can be found by clicking on my signature index link below and look the the items under #2 EFG which relate to this item.

For whatever reason, my TI Rescue CD has no problem reading my Sata3 disk and I have Win7-64 also.

Hello all,

Andrea, I will do my best to help you.

According to the report that you kindly provided, your hard drives do not have any errors on them. In addition to the suggestions by Grover, you can try running backups in a sector-by-sector mode. Please check this article for additional information.

You can also contact our Support team directly with the same report so that we can properly investigate and resolve this issue.
