Acronis True Image 2013
I bought a 5-pack of Acronis 2013 and have been using it to create a full image every day since, keeping the last dozen or so before overwriting them. Recently I tried to restore one of the images and kept getting the error, "Failed to open item I:\Acronis\AcerWin10\Entire PC (Desktop-Qt4ttlu)_full_b104_s1_v1.tib.".
I am able to mount the image but I'm not able to restore it. Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Since I've used only one of the five copies so far and have not been able to restore an image that I can mount and see, I find it a bit intimidating to have to upgrade just to get support for this version.
Can anyone help me out of this delimma?
Thanks.

I do the backups daily using the installed version of 2013 via Task Scheduler.
I rarely restore an image but when I do, at least on prior versions, I do it either through WE (actually DOpus) which brings up Acronis for the restore, OR by simply runnnig the program from the desktop and specifying the image I want to restore. However, finding the "restore" button in Acronis 2013 is somewhere between very difficult and impossible, even then when I point to the file, it can't find it.
By ATI Rescue Media, are you referring to a bootable copy of 2013? I've restored in the past that way but haven't yet tried it with this incident.

Dave, as mentioned above, any recovery of your Windows OS drive should be done using the Acronis Rescue Media rather than from within Windows - Acronis will need to restart regardless of the method but it is safest to do so from the rescue media.
Please see the ATIH 2013 User Guide: Recovering your system which shows you the steps needed for Recovery including with screen shots of the 2013 panels used.
See also Youtube video How to recover with Acronis True Image 2014 which while is for the next version should be very similar to your 2013 recovery task.
