Acronis True Image 2015 Bootable Media in Trial Mode

Thread needs solution

I downloaded and installed and activated my licensed copy of Acronis True Image 2015 Build 6525. I Downloaded and installed the Acronis True Image 2015 Universal Restore Software Build 5531.
I launched the "Run Universal Boot Media Builder" from the start menu under the Acronis folder.

In the media creation steps as listed here: https://kb.acronis.com/content/47606 (Creating Bootable Media with Acronis Universal Boot)

In step 2 I choose "Linux-based Media under the "Bootable Media Type", and "Windows-Like Representation".
In Step 4 (Image 4), it gives us the option to choose what we want to build into the bootable media. On mine I had 2 more options that are not listed in the directions image. I attached the screen shot of those 2 additional options.
I check all 4 boxes, in hopes of making a single bootable flash drive with all these great tools on it.
I was successful in creating a bootable flash drive with startup options to choose which of the 5 or 6 tools I wanted to go into during the Pre-Environment.
The problem is that when I chose “Acronis True Image 2015” and go to add a new drive (Initialize), once I click process, it said that I could not due to the fact that this is a trial version of Acronis.

If I create a separate bootable flash drive through the Acronis app, it doesn’t tell me I’m in trial and allows me to initialize a new drive.

How is it that when this bootable drive was made, it attached a non-licensed trial mode acronis to it.

I would like to have this 1 stop shop for all my Acronis Needs, since I am a license holder for this program and do not have the trial version installed at all.

I see similar discussions for older versions of the software, but none of them are exactly the same as the issue I am having. Although, there are some striking similarities here if anyone wants to think it through.

Me too. In the meantime use this https://forum.acronis.com/forum/71918 .

I recently noticed that the True Image created Linux based rescue media is larger after installing the Universal Restore Media Builder. I had previously only used the rescue media in UEFI mode which only loaded True Image. I booted the rescue media on a BIOS machine and found that the 32bit version of Universal Restore was listed as an option in the True Image boot menu.

If your using a UEFI machine and you want a truly one stop shop I highly recommend using the MustangPEBuilder to build your rescue media. Mine boots in just over 30 seconds from a USB 3.0 flash drive. I use the WinPE exclusively because it better suites my recovery needs, and Acronis is always screwing up the Linux based media. Right now the Linux based version is incapable of recognizing Seagate USB 3.0 HDDs. The WinPE uses Windows drivers so there are fewer issues and drivers for devices that aren't supported by the default WinPE can be added to the rescue media.

Thanks Joey! I have an Acronis WinPE Boot DVD, but haven't encountered a scenario where I need it yet. Based on all the work Mustang did to get his one-stop-shop WinPE boot media working, it must be very useful. I will work towards adding media made from the MustangPEBuilder to my kit.
