Acronis True Image and Booting into a Black Screen

Thread needs solution

I have had this problem on different versions of Acronis True Image. I am presently using 6597 with PlusPack and MediaAddons. I downloaded the Plugin from Acronis and that has been a nightmare, BartPe keeps giving me errors during the build.
I tried booting into different computers to make sure that there was not an issue with the cd was created, and it worked perfectly. However, on two laptops (one Dell and another Toshiba) all I get is a black screen on booting to create an image.
I also tried a Acronis Backup & Recovery Workstation & Server v10.0.12497 boot disk on those laptops and I saw the proper screen. But as those boot disks don't belong to me, and this is for a home environment, I don't need or want a server disk.
Please forgive me, but I find this absolutely unacceptable from your company. We paid for this software and you are making your customers have to jump through hoops to get this work properly. Your customers should NOT have to create or download any special software to be able to make a bloody boot disk that will work on all hardware. When we install a Windows boot disk of any kind, on any hardware it works -correct?
Do you you think -maybe- that this is why PC magazine (to mention one) does NOT give your product glowing reviews?
I paid for this product and I am really getting frustrated.

Hello Mike,

Thank you for posting. I will definitely assist you with this issue.

I can recommend the following Knowledge Base article in case this is a GUI issue, you can check it here. Unfortunately it is not possible to create a bootable disk that will support all hardware. However, we have a special procedure that allows us to resolve hardware problems with the bootable media. Please check this article for more information.

In case you have additional questions, please let me know.

Thank you.

Hello everyone,
Registered just to type some symbols here.
About a year ago, my department faced the same problem and solved it.
That was the key:
Go to BIOS (next steps may vary, but you'll get the idea)
Settings
Advanced
Integrated Graphics Configuration
IGD Multi-Monitor
CHANGE TO 'DISABLED' STATE
Worked perfectly from now on for this PC.
That's all folks. Hope it helped!
