Acronis True Image HD 2014, what limitaions?

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have just purchased an SSD and fresh reinstalled the Win 7 OS on a laptop computer that had crashed due to a bad hard drive. I have not used the included Acronis activation key that came with the Crucial SSD.

I am wondering if I can use Acronis True Image HD 2014 as a future backup solution.
What are the limitations of this edition (HD), in time or functionality? Will it stop working after a certain time? IOW, If I install now, i.e. after having installed the OS, can it be used for continued backups in case of a future system crash? Say the Crucial SSD fails for some reason, would the backups restore correctly on another SSD from another company? I understand it would only be able to do full backups, so no incremental backups.
