Acronis True Image Home 2009 "Won't back up partitions"

Thank you for finding time to join us on Forum, we're glad to greet you here. I understand your concern, and will be glad to help you.

It looks like the SnapApi drivers issue (these drivers are responsible for accessing the hard drive, and in case the product hangs on partition selection, it's highly possible that the SnapAPI drivers cannot load properly). Unfortunately as Acronis True Image Home 2009 is an outdated product, it's not supported, developed or updated anymore, we don't have many options here.

As a workaround I would advice to update the SnapAPI drivers (I will send you the link to it in a minute via PM).

Unfortunately in case the issue will remain we won't be able to investigate the problem due to the product is not supported anymore, and the only thing I can advise you is to test the latest version - Acronis True Image Home 2011. We have changed the GUI a bit, so you might want to check it's User Guide (we have added some functionality, too). The trial version is full functional, 30 days valid and the only limitations are: 

- 30 days of work
- Clone feature not available
- Bootable media can restore only
