I would steer clear of one click protection completely. Do full manual backups or scheduled backups. Any other Acronis functions in my experience dont work. ATI 2009 for me was the last decent backup program from Acronis. It has been downhill ever since. ATI 2011 being the absolute worst.

Janet,
The password it is looking for is the one you use to login to your computer.

Retry or simulate again your intended backup. When you are searching for drives, work from the left pane and double click on some of the offerings. Sometimes the drives are hidden under other listings such as my computer or sometimes working from the right pane does not show all you want. Also, sometime the window will need to be expanded to max width in order to see all offerings.

If 2009 was able to see your drives in the past, it should be able to see them now.

What happens when you attempt when booted from the Rescue CD?

The one click backup does not always include all your data. As jehosophat stated, I prefer to create my own backup so that I can checkmark the disk to include all partitions.
