Acronis True Image Home 2010

Thread needs solution

Acronis True Image Home 2010 is shut down by Microsoft Windows when Acronis is started up. Cannot execute any commands or recover any backups before this happens. Just get the message sorry for the inconvenience. Asks for permission to send message to Microsoft. Why is this happening?

Use the TI cleanup utility (signature link 4 below) and remove 2010.
Afterwards, you can reinstall 2010 if you still want it installed.

If you do not have a current backup, you could boot to the TI 2010 REcovery CD and do a full and complete backup before you do the cleanup.

Thanks for the information. I have used the TIH CLEANUP UTILITY to remove Acronis True Image Home 2010 and reinstalled the Acronis True Image Home 2010 boxed version CD. I was able to do a disc and partition backup to a Seagate External Hard Drive successfully. This hard drive is approximately 3 year old and 1TB size. I find that when I try to do a backup to a new Seagate 3TB External Hard Drive is when I get the original problem and Microsoft Windows closes my Acronis without any explanation but with apologies. Are there updates available for Acronis True Image Home 2010 that will allow it to back up to new external hard drives? Could you point me in the right direction please. Thank you.
