Acronis True Image Home 2010: shortcut and install on ubuntu

Thread needs solution

I've 2 questions...

1. On my Windows 7 machine i've enabled the bootmanager. When i press [F11] i can restore a backup! great! First i've to select the restor option, then i've to select the image and follow the wizard, mybe 10 clicks!

Is it possible to create a shortcut in the bootmenu that directly restore my image?

2. On my Ubuntu 9.10 machine i use the cd to create and restore an image.

Is it possible to enable the bootmenu in Ubuntu?

1. Not directly with TI. Also, any auto-restore methods developed using other methods either don't work or are too problematic to be usable.

2. If your Ubuntu computer has a FAT32 or NTFS partition on it, it may be possible to activate the ASRM when running TI from the TI CD. (I haven't run any tests on that particular scenario and Acronis changed how the ASRM works in TI 2010 and the later builds of 2009.)

Is there other software that can do the job?

Just now i saw the option "Acronis Boot Sequence Manager". I thought this wil do the job, but it is only for Windows Enterprise and Ultimate. I've home premium.

Is there a workaround?
