Acronis True Image Home 2012 NonStop backup

Thread needs solution

I have 2 backup jobs setup in my Acronis Home. a disk multi-partition job and a NonStop backup of "My Documents". Sometimes when I open the home page to check my logs, the NonStop job is missing. Other times it shows up. Anyone know why it would be missing? The taskbar is showing that the job is running or has stopped. If the job stops and I try to look at the logs to discern why and the job is missing, I'm not able to review the logs because I cant get to them. Anyone have any ideas?

Hello David,

thank you for opening a thread regarding this question.

NonStop backup might stop automatically in case the system resources are loaded. Still we need to check whether there are any other reasons. Could you please share with us the Acronis System Report from the problem machine?

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you.

Here's a copy of the Acronis system report and a screen image that show's my NonStop backup stopped in the taskbar but no job setup on the Acronis backup page. I look fwd to an answer. Thanks.

Hello David!

Sorry for the delay with the response.

Unfortunately the logs didn't reveal any useful information, but this allows us to assume that the cause of the problem is the NonStop Backup service crashing.

As you can see the NonStop service is stopped, though set to start automatically. We need to find out why it crashed. Please do the following:

  1. Try to start the service manually (Right click on the service -> Start/Run), and see if it errors out. If it does, send us the screenshot
  2. Collect userdump of the NSB process
  3. Send us Acronis Info in addition to the information below

Please also note that Forum doesn't provide us with the ability to reply immediately, so in case of emergency we strongly recommend to contact support directly.

Let us know if you have any additional questions, we will be glad to help.

Thank you.
