Acronis True Image Home 2015 has stopped work

I purchase Acronis True Image Home 2015, installed it on a Window 7 64bit machine, did a full image backup to a USB drive and then started my normal work. Now I keep getting a message "Acronis True Image home has stopped working. What is running that would cause this? Does some service continue to run in the background? I'm not using the cloud and don't want to, and I can't find anything in the Acronis panel that says something is scheduled?

Any ideas where to look?

I got same thing. Just finished a backup and was going in to find the options to recover, etc. Then got message it stopped working. I tried to repair the installation by downloading the installation file. That did not work. So uninstalled it and rebooted the laptop. Reinstalled the software that seemed to fix it.

I will tell you that I have had more damned problems with Acronis that I care to count. On my main PC at home, I have Shadow Protect by StorageCraft. It is more costly than Acronis ... but it just works. No issues, no obtuse errors. If Acronis keeps crapping out this way, I will have to bite the bullet and use Shadow Protect on my PCs
