Acronis True Image Home on Dell Latitude E6410

Thread needs solution

Hello,

We purshased two new Dell Latitude E6410 Laptops. When I boot into Acronis True Image Home 2010 on them the mouse and keyboard are unresponsive. So I unable to make an image of these Laptops. Here is the file version for Acronis that I am using. Are these laptops just to new for the software to reconize the hardware?

Hi
It sounds like you are booting into the SAFE version of TI not the Full version. In the SAFE version you must hold F10 down and navigate with the arrows

Hello Jimmie and Joe,

Thank you for your comments and for finding time to report about the issue.

Unfortunately Joe can be wrong, it's more possible that the issue is  related to the lack of drivers in the bootable media Linux kernel.  The problem can be caused by several reasons, so we need to localize the issue.

Jimmie,  could you please download the latest bootable media in *.iso format from your account, burn it onto the CD, and check whether the issue remains.

Should it be present, please gather Acronis Linux Report, then submit a case with the information attached, and let us know it's number.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!
