Acronis True Image Home version 11 Try & Decide Blue Screen of Death

Thread needs solution

When using the Try & Decide feature I always get a Blue Screen of Death. I have two computers, one PC, one laptop and both have the same problem. Windows XP SP3. Acronis version 11 build 8101. Sometimes I get the blue screen after I decide to "discard" the changes and reboot; on reboot I get the blue screen and have to reboot again. Just today, after about 10 minutes, my laptop just went to blue screen and rebooted. Has Acronis fixed this for version 11 or are they going to make me buy the next version? If so, I won't be buying anymore...

As far as I know, build 8,101 is the last build of TI 11 and "fixes" are no longer being developed.

It may help if you posted the brands/models of the computers.

When your laptop blue-screened today, was T&D active? Does it only blue-screen if T&D is active?

Acronis Support may have an updated T&D driver. They sometimes do that and they don't get released.
