Acronis True Image PC Claims Bad Sector - other products don't

I bought Acronis True Image PC to replace my hard drive in my Acer Aspire M laptop with a Samsung SSD. However, Acronis always fails claiming a bad sector (I'm backing up to a 1tb seagate drive over USB). I have done a chkdsk /f as instructed and that has not help. I have backed up from Windows, and from the acronis book disk - both exhibit the same behavior.

I can backup the drive with EASE Backup without those errors. I suspect there is an issue with the Acronis software. The build number is 6525.

To run chkdsk on a drive that has reported bad sectors and have sectors located and data recovered if possible the switch that is used is /r. The /f switch is used to correct other errors on disk such as file system errors. Run the command again as chkdsk /r
