Acronis Universal Restore "destroys" Image - Restore without UR works

Hi,

I had created 2 topics for the same problem:

After restoring without the universal restore feature (Plus Pack) the image works on the new Laptop!

Why I have tried without universal restore was a turorial which explains how to reanimate Windows Vista or Windows 7 without such a universal restore feature. But it wasn't neccessary to execute the steps of the tutorial.
If someone hasn't luck to restore an image with or without universal restore or someone is interested in this tutorial I can help.
(short description of the tutorial: if the chipset drivers don't work on the new machine you can activate the standard drivers of the operating system by editing the registry entries outside from an Win PE)
