Acronis won't boot?

Thread needs solution

I have 2010 and I can boot an OS on my computer but not Acronis. Maybe my BOIS need something. It will boot on some computer and not others. I think it run from an Autorun which is different from booting like what an OS does? So I was thinking of getting 2015 which should boot and what is the advantage over 2010 because all I want to do is image which is pretty simple?

Hello Richard,
Are you attempting to boot from an Acronis Boot CD?

If so, you need to ensure that your CD or DVD drive appears in your boot order before the hard disk. This setting is found in your BIOS. Most Systems also allow you to select a boot device on the fly by pressing a key during POST. F2, F5, F7, F10 or F12 are often used, but it varies by manufacturer. Setting it in the BIOS will ensure this rule is always followed. If this is not your question, please post again with additional information.
