Activate secure zone
I'm trying to use the secure zone, but I can't overpass the "quiet" message of the boot menu after pressing the F11 key.
This message is in a pop up and this pop up cut off my keyboard and the mouse (USB Keyboard and mouse).
I can use them before the boot (the F11 key is recognized) and I was able to use it with a simple edit line when I had linux on this machine.
Everything is OK if I boot with a rescue CD, the problem is this pop up menu and this "quiet" mode using the secure zone.
Thanks for help

I've done that, to reinstall the standard Windows XP boot ini.
It works fine, thanks, but I can't really say I solve the problem for in that case I can't even try to boot on the secure zone now.
If I re-activate again the secure zone I still have the same problem again (when the popup editor prompt during the boot session I can't use nor my keyboard nor my mouse to edit a command or click an option) : so the bug is "clean" and the question is till the same,
- is there a way to solve that problem (overpass that pop up editor, to have a standard linux edit line for instance) , or
- the only solution is to use my rescue CD, and in that case the best choice is to forget the rescue zone, erasing your dual boot ini and going back to the standard WXP boot ini.
My ATI version Acronis True Image Home 11.0 (build 8.101)
Thank's again

Hello GENSBURGER Alain,
Thank you for using Acronis Products
Please do the following to solve the issue. First of all download ISO image of Acronis bootable disc based on ISOLInux loader from your account under registered Products. Then check it functionality, if the ISOLINUX CD works flawless for you, you can update Acronis Startup Recovery Manager in the following way:
Exclude kernel.dat and ramdisk.dat and replace the old ones. The files are located at:
* \Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome\kernel.dat
* \Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome\ramdisk.dat
After that reactivate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager and see if the issue remains.

Thank's for your advice, everything is OK now.
(Just picking those two files from the bootable rescue disk I'd yet printed and tested.)
