Activation key not working - 2013

Hello everyone, new person to the forum. The issue I am running into is that I bought a hard drive and it offered a free copy of acronis with it. So my initial problem was that it only gave me a 13 digit key when I needed a 64 digit key but I figured that out. I  registed for an account and got a 64 digit key directly from acronis. When I try and use this key it says that it is incorrect, to enter the correct number. Is there something I am missing to make this key work or is the bundled software just a sham?

And literally just as this posted, I figured out how to get it through. When you get a 13 digit code from OCZ or ADATA or someone else. Create an account on Acronis. After that, register your key and it will give you a 64 digit key. Continue the installation, and then it will ask for a 64 digit key. If your installation is anything like mine, it will fail at this point when you enter in the larger key. From here I picked to do the trial key, which failed. Then I opened the program, entered the 64 key and it worked. Please lock this topic/let it die. Merry christmas
