Activation problem
I bought TI 2013 in September 2012 and installed it on my Windows 7 PC without a problem and worked very well indeed. I then upgraded my PC to Windows 8 Pre-release and that too worked very well. I then upgraded my PC to the full version of Windows 8 and whilst the operating system accepted most of my applications it told me that TI 2013 needed to be re-installed. I was quite happy with this because I thought that adding TI 2013 would present no problems. I was wrong! Installation was flawless and everything seemed to be OK until I noticed at the bottom of the TI 2013 screen that I had exceeded my activation limit. Upon checking this issue I was informed that this was easily solved by simply transferring the activation from my previous PC. That advice is excellent for someone moving from one PC to another PC. Unfortunately that advise is useless in my case because the previous installation of TI 2013 was on the same PC and in upgrading the operating system I have lost the original installation and so CANNOT transfer TI 2013. I have contacted Acronis, explained the circumstances and asked them to reset my activation limit so that I can install TI 2013. Although Acronis have been very polite, they did not actually offer any help and instead suggested that I raise the matter on this Forum where they felt sure someone would be able to help me solve this problem. I find this a rather puzzling suggestion because it seems to me that only Acronis can resolve this problem. Nevertheless, I have posted the issue and would be most grateful if anyone could suggest how to resolve this problem.

I am very grateful for your response and your suggestion. I have visited the "My Account" section but am unable to find anything that allows me to manage my activations. Can you please tell me exactly where you were able to change your activations?
