Thread needs solution

I have purchsed a crucial drive and have install and used acronis true image 2015

and was able to create  an image after I installed the new drive and istalled the os

I could not use the software to restore my drive, software is registered but bet message to register when I try to register

it says already registered, drive me crazy any help will be greatelly appreciated

Unfortunately, you'll need to contact crucial for licensing support with OEM furnished Acronis licenes.  Most likely, someone purchased your disk, grabbed the free OEM Acronis license and returned the disk - you may want to check the life of the disk (how much has currently been written already) using a tool like the free trial version of hard disk sentinel - if the disk was previously used and returned, this might show some proof of that.  Otherwise, hopefully it's just a matter of crucial getting you a new key.

Thanks for the reply,  but the license is legit as I was able to use the software

to clone my drive before I removed the old one, now when I try to use it to restore it says that serial # is already registered 

whic is correct beacause it's registerd to me, and when I try to re=enter serial # it says already registered

so I am stuck in a loop

so where do I go from here?

Joe, as Rob has already advised, we are a user forum here with no access to any of the systems used by Acronis for licensing or activation, plus support for OEM versions of the Acronis product are provided by the third parties that provide them, i.e. Crucial in your case.

You first port of call should be to contact Crucial - if they can't / won't help you, then you could try contacting Acronis Support via the link at the top of all forum pages and see if they can help you at all, or would offer you any options for a discounted copy of the full Acronis 2017 product?
