After clone or restore, the target disk changed to GPT

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have a problem when I'm using this software.
My exsiting hdd is MBR, then I use the disk to running disk clone.
After that, I found my target disk is not MBR, it's GPT.

Same situation as backup and restore.
I backup my disk (All partition, SSD) which is MBR to a image file. Then I use this file to restore to another HDD (New, not inisialed before). After that, I found the new disk is GPT function. It can work a while then somedays later, the PC freeze after the MB logo. no boot any more.

Then I have to manully reinstall the Operation System which has to be the MBR function.

I would like to ask how I can avoid this please?
which function should I choose or use to fix this problem?

Thx a lot.

How big is the disk you are targeting? And how big is the disk you are trying to clone?

I've tried so many different size.

1: Source Disk(SD): 128GB SSD, Target Disk(TD): 256GB SSD(Restore). GPT
2: SD: 128GB SSD, TD: 2TB HDD(Restore), GPT
3: SD: 2TB HDD, TD: 2TB HDD(Disk clone), GPT
4: SD: 256GB SSD, TD: 256GB SSD(Disk clone), GPT

I've lost..

I had the same problem. MBR disk changed to GTP 128 GB ssd now machine will not boot, normally this type of upgrade where I take a smaller drive clone it to a bigger drive takes an hour or two. I have been working of this fro two days. is ther any way to roll it back to MBR without losing the data?
