After install - Windows 7 hangs at the Windows logo forever

Hello,
After installing Acronis True Image Home 2011 on my PC (pretty much a fresh install of Windows) & (using the latest 2011 installer from Acronis's website) it goes through its thing and then asks to reboot. When the PC tries to boot back up, it just hangs on the black Windows screen with the Windows logo pulsating. Rebooting doesn't help. It has to go through the Windows System bootup repair thing and fixes some stuff (rolls back the PC basically before it was installed.)
I have disabled my AV (Kaspersky). I tried downloading the installer again and tried installing again. Still does the same thing.
Acronis won't give me any support.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
