After OS and hard drive upgrade Acronis no longer works
I was using ATI 2015 since it was released without too many problems. Then, I decided to upgrade my SSD to Samsung 850 Evo by cloning disk using Acronis. All went well as far as I can see. Next, I installed Win 8.1 Pro over my Win 7 OS. Reinstalled all the software, no major issues except when I put back ATI 2015. Now, laptop freezes at random times, shutting it down or restarting it properly is impossible. After hard reset, it loads BIOS much longer than before, often there is an error message OS is not found, then it goes away after second hard reset. All these problems disappear after removing Acronis. I am not sure what to do. I would not pay Acronis to get their 'support'. I must say I've been grudgingly using Acronis for many years now but running into problem like that with no help from the company whatsoever I will likely to discontinue using their products.

I am having the exact same problem. I have a Lenovo T440 that I have recently replaced the hard drive on. The old drive was a 500gb and the new SSD is only 240. After taking an image of the old drive, I tried to restore it to the new SSD. For some reason, it will not work. I have tried everything including initializing the disk and it still wont work. Did something change in the new Lenovo BIOS that causes this?
